NASSAT and Airbus reach strategic agreement for FIPAS platform

NASSAT has concluded a strategic agreement with Airbus to integrate the Pléiades NEO satellite fleet into the FIPAS platform, designed for the real-time detection and prediction of wildfires. The alliance provides access to high-resolution imagery (30 cm), with daily coverage and on-demand capture. FIPAS combines these data with meteorological models and artificial intelligence to issue early warnings and carry out monitoring of affected areas. Beyond its application to wildfires, and by virtue of NASSAT's servers managed entirely by artificial intelligence and the support of HAPS platforms, this system will also be used by civil protection units, emergency services, security and defence bodies, natural disaster response teams, critical infrastructure surveillance, monitoring of sensitive areas, and border control. The daily observation capability and the precision of the imagery make it a strategic tool for anticipating, assessing, and coordinating responses in risk or crisis scenarios.
